My husband and I decided to start trying to conceive around May of 2023. In July of 2023, I decided to order the easy@home ovulation test kit and start tracking my cycle as I had been on hormonal birth control for 13 years. I remember thinking we would get pregnant so quickly but as every month passed ny, I realized we weren’t getting pregnant as quickly as we would like.
I ended up having an HSG procedure done in December and thank goodness I had my ovulation test kits! My cycle was completely thrown off that month but the test strips kept me on track.
On January 16, 2024, I ended up ovulating 2 days earlier than usual! This ended up being the cycle we finally tested positive! For us it was a sign. My beloved grandmother would have been 85 years old on January 18, and I ended up having a dream a few days before my positive test that I was pregnant. She was in my dream and smiled when I found out I was pregnant. I didn’t think anything of it at first, but when I came down with the flu that week, something just told me when I was only 10 days post ovulation that I needed to take a pregnancy test. We got our big fat positive that day when I was exactly 3 weeks along! I am now 8 weeks and our baby is looking perfect!
I used the [Premom] app for everything! I scanned all my strips in there and used it for tracking symptoms. I was able to see when I was in my fertile window and tracked my BBT every morning. It honestly was kind of fun since it felt like a science experiment every day! The app was so useful in educating me about my cycle. I learned so much by reading through the blogs and what other members were posting on the community feature.
I am so thankful for easy@home and Premom for helping me with this journey of becoming a first time mom at 31 years old. Baby dust to everyone on their pregnancy journey.
