Yes, we recommend to start tracking your basal temperature from the first day of your cycle for more comprehensive data.
The temperature difference before and after BBT spike (around one day after ovulation) is normally 0.54 ℉ to 0.9 ℉, so the BBT to be measured must be in high accuracy. Experiment statistics suggest that 75-second is the minimum time for oral method. The ambient temperature and your body temperature balance status also impact the measurement completing time, and the real time it needs is usually one minute and a half. This BBT is truly amazing!!!!! This is my second bbt due to my first one being chewed on by my lovely fur baby! Hahaha. Very quick read and also love the LED light it has, easy to read when its pitch black in my room, and the best part it has memory so you can see you previous temps! I love how i started tracking my cycles with temping and recording them in my charts every morning! Helps me learn and understand my body more and pin points when i need to Try

It takes forever to read your temperature and even then I’m not convinced it’s totally accurate.

I love this thermometer!! I am new to BBT tracking, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect with this, but it couldn’t be easier to use, and it is extremely accurate from what I can tell. Not too expensive either, so I would highly recommend this.

It takes a little longer than a normal thermometer to get a reading, but it’s very accurate. Showed my temperature spike correlating the the ovulation strips I’ve been using so I know it’s accurate.

I quite like the simplicity of this product: no nfc, no Bluetooth-capability. Just a simple basal body thermometer that is supposed to be highly accurate and have a great memory recall (it records the last 30 temperatures). But I am knocking this by a star because I barely got this thermometer and the first day I used this thermometer, I don’t know how but I guess once waking up, taking my temperature, and then when I put it down back down on my bedside table, a part of screen slightly cracked. I don’t know if I was just too rough putting it on the table (or the product is just delicate), but ever since then I make sure to land the thermometer somewhere soft… like a towel.
