Pregnancy Week 35 - Week 36

Baby Growth

  • Size is approximately 18.66 inches and 5.78.
  • Your baby is the size of a green cabbage.
  • Your baby is about fully developed, and a lot of your baby’s growth is fat now.
  • With less space, a lot of your baby’s movements have changed to rolls and wiggles.
  • Your baby’s skull will remain soft to make delivery easier.

You & Your Body

  • These symptoms may persist: Braxton Hicks contractions, frequent urination, constipation, pains in your hips or pelvis, swollen ankles or feet, heartburn, and trouble sleeping.
  • You may also find that it’s easier to breathe now.

Tips

  • Be aware of a change in your vaginal discharge. Watery could mean your water has burst, blood could mean preterm labor, or mucus-like or blood-tinged discharge could be losing your mucus plug before labor.
  • If you are having trouble eating as you are almost to full term, you may want to have smaller meals throughout the day.
  • Avoid flying at this time in case you go into labor early.
