It is always best to read the results at the 5 minute testing period and then discard the test toavoidconfusion.
There should always be a control line in the result window at 5 minutes for the test to be valid. If not, the test is invalid. The invalid results are normally caused by three major reasons: (1) not placing the absorbent tip in urine for the full 10 seconds, (2) urinalysis insufficient, or (3) urine passed the arrow line on the test. You should retest with another test and make sure to place the absorbent tip in urine for 10 seconds meanwhile make sure you have enough urine while avoiding urinating past the arrowed line on the pad.
