What is PCOS and What are the Symptoms?

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a chronic endocrine disorder in women. It is one of the most common causes of female infertility.  PCOS can cause missed or irregular menstrual periods. Women with PCOS may have false positive ovulation test results due to higher LH levels. There are other symptoms including weight gain, hair growth, fatigue, acne, poor sleep, mood changes, pelvic pain, and headaches. Since a lot of health issues cause these symptoms, they may not lead to an awareness of PCOS easily.    Although PCOS may cause infertility, a lot of women with PCOS can still get pregnant successfully....
